The City Engineer or designated person from the city will conduct an inspection of the ditch/channel and give instructions with directions for the installation and size of the needed culvert. You can catch Crawdads in the channel that parallels the North Davis Fitness Trail or at least you could when I was young - StevenDaubertĬovell Drainage Channel as it runs under Sycamore Lane. Someone with more knowledge of the topography and hydrology of Davis might do a better job on this page.
